It’s always fantastic and very rewarding to get positive feedback for your professional photography from your clients. For me, it’s also equally important to get positive recognition from your peers. Last week I had an email from Leica Fotografie International to inform me that three of my images had been selected for inclusion into the prestigious LFI Gallery.
The LFI Gallery is a carefully curated platform for photography, where images are evaluated by an international professional editorial team to showcase inspirational images from around the world. The Leica brand has always been synonymous with the worlds leading documentary, reportage and street photographers such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Frank and Elliott Erwitt to name but a few. Therefore to have some of my documentary portraits recognised by a company with such rich history and heritage is an honour and something that I’m extremely proud of.
